POSITION PURPOSE

As a company Recruiter, you will be responsible for executing Pinto Valley’s talent management strategy by screening, interviewing and referring candidates for positions throughout the operation. You will have considerable interview skill, a strong understanding of clerical and specialized functions throughout the company, a strong knowledge of organizational structures and company policy.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with department leaders and HR Business Partners to coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process for all vacancies.
  • Build applicant sources through research and contact with community services, colleges, employment agencies, media and internet sites.
  • Determines applicant qualifications by screening resumes, interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Facilitate strategic recruitment meetings with PVLT and HR Business Partners on critical vacancies.
  • Serve as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges and industry associations.
  • Partner with the corporate office to reinforce the company brand and attract talent.
  • Ensure that all employees are qualified to execute the tasks/jobs they are assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge

  • Ability to partner with department leaders and HR business partners to coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process.
  • Be able to utilize up to date recruitment processes to include the use of social media, internet posting boards and other talent pipelines to recruit top talent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of the mining industry preferred.
  • Experience with reports and analysis related to recruitment efforts.
  • Develop recruitment analytics such as time-to-fill analysis, reason for declinations, and turnover reports.

Key Competencies / Skills

  • 1-3 years relevant work experience.
  • Able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English.
  • ADP and other HRIS experience a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Must have ability to stand and walk for short durations, including walking up and down stairs and across uneven surfaces.
  • Must have ability to kneel, crawl, stoop, and squat, occasionally in confined spaces.
