Technical Support Specialist

Due to continuing growth, we are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our team The Technical Support Specialist will work alongside our IT Director utilizing basic technical knowledge to support IT initiatives and provide first-level technical information systems support to employees. You will assist in the installation, maintenance, tests, and repairs of systems and networks, and help resolve routine technical problems.

What You Will Do:
- Perform basic problem solving and assistance on various software applications and hardware systems for employees at various offices.
- Perform routine technical assistance and maintenance duties.
- Perform routine systems support, maintenance, and testing for proper upkeep of systems; troubleshoots and resolves general system hardware, software, and network failures and conflicts.
- Assist with tracking inventory levels of equipment and materials.
- Maintain and update record keeping system, such as, but not limited to, project documents, user instructions, general reports and/or systems errors.
- Assist with the review, evaluation and recommendation of solutions relating to, but not limited to hardware, software and/or network updates.
- Assist with research and development initiatives and in the implementation of new technologies.
- Assist with the implementation of technology projects with moderate scope and impact.
- Assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of computers, workstations and/or other related equipment and devices.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
What We Look For:
- Knowledge of a wide range of computer systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications.
- Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word experience
- Ability to perform routine preventive maintenance on systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications.
- Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of focus.
- Records maintenance skills.
- Ability to provide direction to employees to resolve technological issues.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of employees in a diverse community.
- Ability to determine computer problems and to coordinate hardware, software, and/or network solutions.
- Ability to analyze and resolve basic computer problems.
