POSITION SUMMARY:

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing Company's overall supply chain and ensuring efficiency, accuracy and quality throughout the supply chain – from sourcing to delivering products to customers – in an Ecommerce and retailer environment. In addition, the Supply Chain Manager will play a crucial role in developing and executing the Supply Chain strategy which includes maintaining relationships with vendors and distributors, optimizing Supply Chain processes and cost savings initiatives.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsibilities include managing all aspects of Purchasing, Demand Planning, Inventory Management,
  • Determine, communicate and maintain key supply chain financial and performance metrics as a gauge of success.
  • Manage, evaluate and develop, direct reports.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of suppliers and vendors with quarterly business reviews.
  • Develop and implement key performance indicators for each supply chain responsibility.
  • Coordinate logistics support required for Amazon FBA and Amazon Vendor programs in multiple locations.
  • Leverage NetSuite ERP and WMS system to create department-specific reports and dashboards.
  • Work with Purchasing team to evaluate the competitive landscape, political and regulatory changes, and
  • Partner closely with freight forwarders, and logistics partners to ensure cost-effective inbound transportation.
  • Participate in planning and executing short-term and long-term strategies to prepare for company’s continued
  • Work closely with finance teams to forecast inventory levels and plan purchasing based on budgeted cash flow,
  • Seek to improve all aspects of the supply chain department by reviewing current methodology and processes.
  • Intervene on behalf of assigned direct reports when necessary to expedite product or resolve any supply issues.
  • Other tasks as necessary

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years of experience with increasing levels of responsibility in purchasing, supply chain management and logistics
  • 5+ years of experience managing a supply chain department
  • Demonstrated management of teams and personnel development
  • Outstanding analytical skills – ability to define problems or opportunities, collect data, establish facts and present solutions
  • Project management skills – Will have demonstrated the ability to push projects to completion with sound planning and persistent execution
  • Superior communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Experience developing and managing budgets for warehouse, office, and tariff expenses
  • A team player who excels in working collaboratively with peers to drive overall company performance
  • Commitment to the highest levels of ethics and integrity

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Must be able to sit/stand for 8 hours
  • Walking, bending, light lifting up to 50 lbs
