Key Responsibilities- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment, including conveyor systems, sortation, robotics, and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS)
- Adjust and repair scanners, cameras, field buses, scales, and printer applicators
- Clean, lubricate, and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Use job plans, procedures, and manuals to guide maintenance activities
- Maintain and troubleshoot motors, photo eyes, relays, proximity sensors, solenoids, motor starters, tachometers, encoders, and other electrical and electronic components
- Assist with basic electronics and Programmable Logic Controls troubleshooting
- Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of industrial robots
- Utilize handheld devices and asset management system mobile apps to create and close work orders
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization
- Follow safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while maintaining equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Possess or ability to obtain a valid driver's license
- PC competency and ability to use mobile apps on handheld devices
- Familiarity with wiring diagrams, symbols, and electrical measuring
- Experience in work order management, preventive/predictive maintenance procedures, basic blueprint and schematic reading, electrical and electronic principles, basic metal fabrication and welding, industrial controls and electronics, and programmable logic control (PLC) programs
- Degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field
- 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field
- Experience with automated conveyor systems and controls
- Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards
- Experience with robotic operation/maintenance
