Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays as needed.
Compensation:
$14.50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the sanitation washroom in a clean and hygienic state, ensuring safe operation of all equipment according to established guidelines.
  • Handle and mix cleaning and sanitizing agents in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize equipment to prevent contamination.
  • Monitor and report on Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures and HACCP prerequisite programs.
  • Oversee equipment and supplies to support departmental tasks effectively.
  • Conduct daily cleaning of pack-house, cooler, and common areas.
  • Perform scheduled cleaning tasks in the pack-house.
  • Safely remove broken glass as per established procedures.
  • Manage inventory of cut gloves by sorting and restocking.
  • Clean and maintain dumpsters as required.
  • Provide backup housekeeping support when necessary.
  • Assist in training and supporting team members across departments.
  • Cross-train and assist in various departmental functions as needed.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.
  • Utilize personal protective equipment as required for each task.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
  • 1-3 years of experience in sanitation or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines.
  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Knowledge of effective cleaning and sanitizing techniques.
  • Comprehension of company-specific Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Basic understanding of operational and preventive maintenance for dispensers.
  • Ability to work independently and follow provided instructions.
Working Environment:
  • Must be able to lift or move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Requires bending, twisting, stooping, and repetitive motions.
  • May work in proximity to moving equipment.
  • Comfortable working in environments with bees.
