The Role

As a Digital Asset Specialist, you will maintain a well-organized digital asset library, labeling, categorizing, storage, retrieval and ensuring easy accessibility for all of Congo Brands and its and vendors. You'll manage a team of product visualization artists to create product renders and assets, as well as audit online stores for our products and ensure all are up-to-date and on brand.


What We Need from You

  • Team Lead: Manage a team of product visualization artists who utilize 3D software and digitally generate our product images for print and digital use.
  • On-site: Be available to work on-site in our Louisville, KY office.
  • Project Management: Experience with Monday.com and similar programs.
  • Deadlines: Manage deadlines and be sure delivery dates are actively managed.
  • Proactive: Identify needs and/or gaps within projects and problem solve
  • Audit: Audit online stores for our products and ensure all are up to date and on brand.
  • File Review: Before delivery of final files to the person/department who requested them, you will review and ensure the images have the correct profiles and meet brand standards, confirming nothing in the request was missed.
  • Digital Asset Management: Maintain a well-organized digital asset library, labeling, categorizing, storage, retrieval and ensuring easy accessibility for team members.
  • Metadata: Properly tag all images to ensure searchability.
  • Color Correction: Apply color correction techniques to ensure accurate and vibrant prints.
  • Proofing: Produce and review proofs for quality and approval.
  • Detail-Oriented: Exhibit meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of design production.
  • Self-Starter: Be a proactive self-starter who can solve problems and meet project deadlines.
  • Quality Assurance: Review images for accuracy, consistency, and completeness before finalizing for printing or digital distribution.
  • Documentation: Provide a weekly report of new visual assets. Develop and implement policies and procedures for digital assets and metadata. Including technical guides and instructions.
  • Design Communication: Generate mock-ups and visual prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and ideas to internal teams and clients. Including cutting, gluing, taping, and folding.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Be flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as requested by management.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working within brand guidelines and maintaining consistency in design execution.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Proficient understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud. (Specifically Illustrator and Photoshop)
  • Ability to lead and work as a team member in a collaborative group environment or alone.
  • Ability to interpret and follow written instructions and/or oral directions.
  • Effective oral, written, and electronic communication skills.
  • A working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills.
