Job Desc/Summary: The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) position is both a telephone and in person sales position. The goal of the ISR is to identify, establish or re-establish and maintain contact with construction and manufacturing customers to increase rentals of equipment and other company solutions to retail customers in his or her geographic region. To be successful, the ISR must strive to reach these customers via multiple lines of communication to transact product support and sales business. The ISR will focus on customers that are currently unassigned or underserved.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Provide a positive selling experience for each customer, acknowledging, interacting with, and building relationships with customers, creating customer loyalty.
- Stay up-to-date with current products and retail trends.
- Adheres to all retail policies and procedures.
- Facilitate equipment rental process
- Communicate with other team members and management as needed.
- Anticipate guest needs, exceeds expectations, and adheres to the Black Diamond service standards.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or relevant education with proper training; prior sales experience or training in relevant industry is preferred; excellent customer service and presentation skills; strong abstract reasoning skills; financial creativity as related.
