The Solar Store is looking to expand our sales department by 3, Base + Commission. 100k yearly is possible, work in one of the fastest growing industries, Ground floor opportunity, must be friendly, motivated, self- starter, teachable and wanting a new career in sales, 25-year Tucson local Solar installation company, offering many different solar technologies. Base + Commission = target pay >$100K

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • We are a low-pressure organization that believes in doing what is right and correct. Honor our core values.
  • Attend Training and be a Consultative Sales professional.
  • Maximize income by closing leads and helping families convert to solar and enjoy the comfort and have peace of mind.
  • Provide timely quotes, including preparation of contract materials and utility paperwork.
  • Accurately Prepare job packets to provide drafting and operations with complete information to fulfill the project.
  • Provide on-going communications with customers providing clear updates during the process and to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction possible.
  • Collections of payment, as requested.
  • Assist in The Solar Store marketing events such as Home Shows and Community Events.
  • Maintain current understanding of utility incentives and state and federal tax credits.
  • Timely follow up on leads.
  • Flexibility in work schedule to meet customer and The Solar Store needs. Including working some weekends.
  • We provide 95% of leads, and Referrals are another advantage of our quality.
  • We do NOT sell on price; we are proud of the quality of our work and our consultative process.
  • We are the company that will come out and clean up the messes that are caused by those who only sell on price.
  • Since you do not need to self-generate leads, we expect you to respect our leads and maximize them to the greatest possible extent

Work experience Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License and can be covered by The Solar Store’s automobile insurance.
  • Working skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Able to move ladders and climb on roofs.
  • Construction experience helpful

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience or
  • Associate degree in related area with 8 years’ experience or
  • High School diploma or GED and 10 sales years sales experience with progressive levels of responsibility.
