SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
  • Administers NSS policies and procedures to control and coordinate equipment calibration, maintenance, and physical inventory of assets.
  • Monitors asset lifecycle, inventory, locations, maintenance status, photographing equipment for identification and record generation.
  • Establishes and maintains comprehensive records of each asset.
  • Coordinates processes and documentation required for new asset acquisition, disposal, replacement and tracking of lost assets.
  • Works with vendors and other departments to maintain accurate and complete asset data.
  • Interface with Government property administrator and plant clearance officer.
  • Process Government property closeout and transfers

Education: HS Diploma/GED

Experience: No experience necessary. Training will be provided

Abilities, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Computer skills are a plus (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal skills; a team player and independent worker.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Must be strong at solving problems.
  • Good time management
  • An eagerness to learn.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision or with teams.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledgeable of various test equipment for RF and Digital electronics. Experience maintaining Government and Customer owned property. Experience with inventory and/or asset management.
