Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Superintendent to join our team at Par Pacific. As a key member of our maintenance and reliability team, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our refinery's reliability strategy, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive reliability strategy to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime
  • Lead a team of reliability engineers and technicians to identify and address reliability issues
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Monitor and analyze reliability metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement proactive and preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment failures
  • Supervise reliability engineering studies, including root cause failure analysis and equipment modifications
  • Participate in incident investigations and develop corrective actions to prevent future incidents
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, civil, or chemical engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in reliability engineering, preferably in the petrochemical industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex reliability issues
  • Valid US driver's license and acceptable driving record
