Loan Services Representative

Summary of Position
Reports to the Loan Administration Manager or designated officer, responsible for preparation and/or review of documents related to consumer, commercial, letters of credit, energy, SBA and real estate loans to ensure compliance with federal and state banking regulations and in accordance with bank loan policy.
Essential Functions:
- Identify credit and collateral document exceptions, ensuring collateral lien perfection.
- Process and review new loans verifying title commitments, deeds of trust, promissory notes, applications, and appraisals.
- General filing with some other clerical duties.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, faxes and general correspondence.
- Provides support to all areas of the department as directed or where service or assistance is needed; demonstrates superior customer service with appropriate follow through with involved customers and employees.
- Review computer data and create various reports as needed.
- Enter loan data into processing software including but not limited to PPDocs and ComplianceOne.
- Review loan file documentation for missing or erroneous information.
- Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with personnel from other departments.
- Ability to stand or support oneself and stay in an upright position.
- Ability raise substantial objects from lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position.
- Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word.
- Ability to reach and retrieve objects outside of immediate range.
- Ability to visually identify and distinguish between various documents with normal range of sight having no less than 20/40 to 20/50 vision with or without corrections.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED with one year of experience preparing consumer and commercial loan documentation required. Knowledge of Windows based software including Word and Excel; good typing skills (30 wpm); proficient use of 10-key calculator by touch; knowledge of basic accounting principles (debits, credits, balancing; loan accounting and loan reconcilements). Excellent oral and written communication skills, time management and organizational skills required. Docusign experience preferred.
