Job Summary:

The Commercial Sales Account Manager (CAM) has operations in the U.S., and has overall responsibility for driving business growth through proactive cold calling, developing and maintaining client relationships, and exceeding sales targets while providing exceptional customer service and product expertise. This position reports directly to the National Accounts Manager and does not have direct reports.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Identifies and pursues new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with existing clients to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Collaborates with the commercial sales management team to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Provides excellent customer service by addressing and resolving product/part issues promptly.
  • Recommends the correct part(s) for each unique situation, demonstrating deep product knowledge.
  • Meets and exceeds monthly and annual sales quotas.
  • Maintains accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management.
  • Participates in sales meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development.
  • Represents Leonard Truck Outfitters at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of related specific industry work experience, with a comprehensive understanding of the Commercial Truck Up-Fit Business.


Travel:

  • This position requires regular travel to client locations and industry events within the specified region/territory.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel frequently to various client locations and industry events within the specified region/territory.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly, and occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods during sales calls, meetings, and trade shows.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive long distances as needed.
  • Ability to use a computer, telephone, and other office equipment as required.
  • Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus for reading documents, operating a vehicle, and engaging in client presentations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via email.
