.The Collections Specialist is responsible for managing our clients accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances, and maintaining positive relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee/execute collections activities.
  • Utilize collection techniques to recover outstanding balances.
  • Monitor/manage AR aging reports to identify overdue accounts.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to address payment issues/resolve disputes.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements with clients.
  • Utilize financial software/systems to streamline collections processes.
  • Update client account records.
  • Provided updates on collections to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in collections/AR management within a professional services firm required - law firm experience highly desired.
  • Strong understanding of collection laws, regulations, and best practices.
