Summary:

As a Sales Intern specializing in market and account research, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the Qmulos Sales team ability to build pipeline. You will work closely with Sales Management and the Regional Sales Managers (RSM) to develop and implement strategies across various Sales Regions and vertical markets.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working closely the Sales Team to complete allocated tasks related to market research.
  • Using tools provided by Qmulos you will conduct research and or gathering information through surveys or by speaking to clients and staff.
  • Attending and participating in meetings, workshops, events, and exhibitions.
  • Liaising with clients, vendors, and suppliers on behalf of the Sales Team.
  • Updating documents and sales records including Salesforce.com.
  • Observing and carrying out sales processes.
  • Identifying potential weaknesses and offering improvement suggestions.
  • Keeping a log of everything learned and delivering presentations to staff and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Foundational knowledge of a business’s operational structure
  • Desire to learn and ability to adapt.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Critical thinking & Data analysis skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Bonus: Basic understanding of CRM systems.

Competencies Gained by End of Internship:

  • Understanding of how a sales organization functions.
  • How to create and implement sales territory and account plans.
  • Enhance skills related to customer interactions: Phone, Email, In-Person
