Job Summary

The HR Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resources, assist employees with daily questions, enforce policies and practices, and ensure compliance. The incumbent will assist the director on day-to-day basis with different HR projects as assigned.

Essential Functions:

· Responsible for assisting the HR Director in all activities related to Crescent’s Human Capital:

  • Talent Acquisition
  • Benefits
  • HRIS and Administration
  • Compliance and Administration
Duties & Responsibilities: Talent acquisition:
  • Lead the full cycle recruiting process.
  • Assist with creating and updating job descriptions, and initiate creation of Predictive Index job profile.
  • Post positions, select resumes and conduct the first interviews
  • Coordinate and communicate with the hiring managers regarding the hiring progress.
  • Communicate with candidates regarding the interview and hiring process.
  • Offer the job and share benefits information.
  • Run pre-employment verifications.
  • Set up the orientation schedule as applicable.
  • Conduct all the onboarding responsibilities and logistics.
  • Conduct new hire orientation & trainings.
  • Set up new hire on the HRIS system and all the applicable systems.
  • Follow up with new hires to ensure an excellent new hire experience Benefits
  • Assist with the benefits process.
  • Assist with the benefits open enrollment.
  • Assist with the new hires’ benefits orientation.
  • Provide benefits information after termination.
  • Administer Wellness Partner health care rate program.
  • Assist with the administration of all the employee health, welfare, and retirement plans, which includes 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, ancillary and worksite benefits.
  • Assist with payroll, including proper record keeping, deductions and changes, and create ad hoc reports for CFO and Controller
  • Assist with creating periodic benefits reports.
  • Update all the systems based on new enrollments and changes.
  • Administrate and process FMLA requests
HRIS & Admin
  • Produce and compile periodic HR reports.
  • Update Paycom with the necessary information as applicable.
  • Update the organization chart as needed.
  • Create and maintain all employee files (paper & electronic).
  • Assist employees with ESS (employee self-service) in Paycom.
Compliance & Administration:
  • Assist with I-9 employment eligibility, EEOC reporting, ACA reporting, non-discrimination testing and various governmental surveys.
  • Monitor and ensure Crescent’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
  • Assist with updating and monitoring compliance, company policies and employee handbook.
· Other responsibilities:
  • Assist the HR Director with general HR projects.
  • Lead the routine HR admin work.
  • Additional duties as requested.
Experience & Qualifications
  • 3+ years of Human Resources preferably as a generalist
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law and government regulations, including EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ACA
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite programs: Outlook, MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to interact successfully with all levels of management and employees
  • Experience managing various projects with different departments
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proven time management and ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to work as a team or on your own, when applicable
  • Open to change and willing to learn new skill
Educational Experience
  • BS degree in Human resources or a relevant field preferred, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
