Job DescriptionJob Description

SoBran is seeking a Warehouse Manager with oversight of the NIH Property contract and SoBran personnel. Primary point of contact to coordinate all actions between the Government COTR for daily operation issues and project assignment to maintain continuity.

Duties will include but not limited to:

Description of Duties:

  • Liaison between contractor and NIH principal contacts.
  • Assign work tasks as required by the NIH Contracting Officer (CO) or Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
  • Maintain priorities in workload accomplishment based on the direction of the CO/COR.
  • Resolve employee relation problems immediately and maintain discipline.
  • Perform all necessary administrative and managerial duties over contractor employees.
  • May operate all equipment in warehouse as needed.
  • Attending meetings as required for all projected projects.
  • Attending company training courses and workshops as required.
  • Monitor data entry into Sunflower and GSA Xcess.
  • Responsible for ensuring contractor staff have proper background clearances prior to employment or working at the GDC warehouse complex and will provide NIH verification of the same.
  • Other duties as assigned, and all other warehouse duties as needed.

Required experience:

  • College Degree with 3 years of relevant experience or high school diploma and 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Sunflower and GSA Xcess. (proof must be submitted to show experience)
  • Sunflower experience must be at the Property Control Officer (PCO) level or above.
  • Proficient with Operations System for Customers Access and Requests (OSCAR, (proof must be submitted to show experience)
  • Proficient with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) data entry system Central Excess Property Operations (CEPO)
  • Experience with program and logistics management
  • Experience with staffing, budgeting and scheduling
  • Experience with client interactions
  • Ability to problem solve multiple issues effectively and rapidly.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume warehouse under strict GSA policy and procedures.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Team player and able to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
  • Must be able to lift 60lbs or more.

  • Scientific logistics warehouse experience
  • Federal logistics warehouse experience
