Department: Imports Department Job Status: Full Time

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Reports to: Director of Imports & Regulatory Compliance

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday Positions Supervised: NA

8:00a.m. – 5:00p.m.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The positions primary responsibility is to insure all pricing, and costing, is correctly applied at the time of receipt, and entered into our ERP system. This position requires a very detailed and accuracy oriented person to handle the following responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Cross check purchase order against the vendors invoice for accuracy in pricing, description, pack size, vintages for wines, and alcohol proof for liquor
  • Ability to multi task and handle multiple priorities
  • Gather all landing cost components applicable to each shipment prior to receipt
  • Insure that the costing has been applied correctly across the entire order(s)
  • Prepare in proper order the receiving package, as per established criteria
  • Present to accounting receiving packages within a day of receipt in the ERP system
  • Work closely with Purchasing, Customer Service, Warehouse, and Accounting Departments
  • Trouble shoot any issue that may come up in a professional manner
  • Must work well in a team environment
  • General office duties as assigned by supervisor

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or Equivalency. Minimum of 2-3 years in related experience or a combination of experience and/or education in related field. Accounting experience is a plus. Must be Bi-lingual English/Spanish is required.
