ECI Group is currently recruiting a Real Estate Investment Due Diligence and Closing Coordinator who will coordinate the due diligence and closing process for acquisition and development deals sponsored by ECI Group, which will include interfacing with lenders, attorneys, equity investors, 3rd party consultants and management and asset management groups within ECI Group. This role will also provide analytical and administrative support to the acquisitions and development groups on an as needed basis.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and distribute acquisition pipeline report on a weekly basis
  • Download offering memorandums and supporting information into the company’s electronic filing system
  • Prepare and submit letters of intents (LOIs)
  • Research market data, sales comps, rent comps, real estate tax information, demographic information and other property-specific information and market information
  • Request, track and file (in company’s electronic filing system) due diligence information
  • Coordinate internal and external property inspections and coordinate 3rd party consultants related to Phase I environmental site assessments (ECAs), property conditions assessments (PCAs), ALTA surveys, zoning assessments, termite reports, insurance coverage, real estate taxes, title insurance, etc.
  • Coordinate closing process, which includes interface with lenders, attorneys, equity partners, 3rd party consultants and management and asset management groups within ECI.
  • Provide analytical and other support to the acquisition and development groups on an as needed basis.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience in commercial real estate, property management, or similar industry
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Exceptional professional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational, data collection, validation, and auditing skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks and ensure deadlines for deliverables are met
