We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Entry-Level Insurance Sales Agent to join our team in Rensselaer and the surrounding area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping people and eager to start a career in insurance sales. As an Entry-Level Insurance Sales Agent, you will receive comprehensive training and support to help you succeed. Your primary role will be to assist clients in understanding their insurance needs and providing them with suitable coverage options.


Compensation:

$80,000+ at Plan Commission

Responsibilities:
  • Implement our proven sales system in the field that is taught in training
  • Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals
  • Implement marketing strategies including, but not limited, to cold calling and networking to connect with potential clients while simultaneously maintaining a portfolio of current clients
  • Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances in order to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs
  • Remain updated about insurance industry changes that may affect customers in your portfolio
Qualifications:
  • Candidates must have or be willing to get an insurance license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Fundamental computer skills and/or experience using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads and track sales activities
