You will be responsible for troubleshooting, modifying, and installing dairy equipment, manure equipment, and refrigeration systems. Flexibility is a must in our high-demand, ever-changing industry.

We are a family-owned business that has provided innovative milking and manure handling solutions within the dairy industry since 1989. We currently operate out of eight offices across five midwestern states, and maintain a small, tight-knit team.

We offer competitive hourly wages from $18 - $35/hr depending on experience, plus benefits including 401(k) with match, health, dental, vision, and life insurance, paid time off, overtime pay, on-call double pay, and bonus opportunities.

What you will be doing:

  • Install and service various dairy equipment
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs
  • Provide after-hours support and communication to customers
  • Maintain and operate work vehicle
  • Drive to customer sites to perform necessary work
  • Maintain a clean workspace and shop
  • Be available for on-call shifts per the assigned schedule

What we re looking for:

Understanding of conventional and robotic milking and manure handling equipment (GEA, Lely)

Ability to troubleshoot air compressors and commercial refrigeration systems

General knowledge of dairy production systems and processes (CIP, milk handling, vacuum, cow care, etc)

Fabrication and welding (Plasma table, lathe, TIG, MIG, stick)

Ability to create 2D drawings and 3D models (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks)

Ability to read and understand prints, diagrams, manufacturing packets, and manuals

Ability to read and comprehend various prints and schematics (electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic)

Other qualifications:

Agricultural background and/or knowledge

Ability to maintain and/or change focus in fast-paced, time-sensitive projects

Experience with hand and power tools

Broad mechanical aptitude

Ability to work independently and in a team

Positive attitude with problem-solving mindset and great attention to detail

Valid driver s license with clean record
