Account Planning and Management:

  • Primary point of contact and development of relationships with assigned customers
  • Leads and coordinates internal and external resources to maximize revenue growth of assigned territory 
  • Creates account plans for all assigned customers
  • Responsible for execution of account plans and developing corrective action plans as needed to close gaps.
  • General account management:
    • Customer visits, call reports, sampling, negotiations, customer service, forecast/budgeting, etc.
  • Pipeline Development:
    • Identify new project ideas
    • Execute translation priorities
    • Utilize technical resources for sales support
    • Introduces and sells new products to customers
  • Value Capture:
    • Gathers volume/pricing/share intelligence
    • Maximizes price realization to customer’s next best alternative
    • Takes action on leakage management recommendations from product lines
  • Responsible for creating/maintaining sales forecasts
  • Maintains all Sales Force (SFDC) data related to assigned accounts (contacts, call reports, opportunities, account plans, relationship maps.)
  • Leads Customer Options Mapping
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical selling/manufacturing sales experience
    • Automotive Plastics sales preferred
  • Plastics and Elastomers knowledge, preferably Celanese material offering
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and influence multiple levels of an organization
  • Language Skills a plus – Spanish, German, Japanese, Chinese
  • Ability to understand technical properties of materials portfolio
  • Ability to organize and prioritize
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong Business Acumen
  • Strong Customer focus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Microsoft office
