A Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) is a strategic leader within the HR department, responsible for partnering with senior executives and business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals. They play a key role in driving HR initiatives, fostering employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives and drive organizational performance.
  • Lead HR initiatives and projects, such as organizational restructuring, talent management, succession planning, and change management.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and business leaders, providing HR guidance and expertise on strategic business decisions.
  • Partner with functional leaders to understand their needs, develop HR solutions, and drive workforce planning initiatives.
  • Develop and implement talent management strategies, including performance management, career development, and succession planning.
  • Handle complex employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and employment laws, providing guidance and training to managers and employees.
  • Assist in designing and deliver coaching sessions, and training workshops for leaders and managers.
  • Identify learning and development needs, and collaborate with stakeholders to create and implement targeted training initiatives.
  • Utilize HR analytics and data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement in HR processes and practices.
  • Generate HR reports and metrics to track key performance indicators, workforce trends, and HR-related metrics.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has supervisory responsibilities over the Human Resources Business Partners.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Senior HRBP or similar role, with expertise in strategic HR planning, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex HR concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Deep knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and data analytics tools.
  • Change management expertise and experience leading HR initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical and goal oriented.
  • Texas Driver’s License: current liability insurance, personal transportation approved driving record.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate Team Members scheduling.
  • Bilingual preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear.
  • The ability to cope with and tolerate moderate levels of stress is also a necessity. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
