Qualifications

What you’ll do:

  • Receive post-closing loan documentation/collateral and reviews all documents for accuracy ensuring borrower name, property address, legal description, lender name and address and Notary acknowledgement are correct.
  • Store collateral in secure fashion
  • Prepares, ship and tracks collateral to appropriate parties
  • Track and obtain final title policy and recorded security instrument – filing electronically in the loan folder
  • Prepare individual loan files for delivery to investor/servicer
  • Update relative systems with servicing transfer information
  • Track creditor payoffs and requests re-issuance of payment as needed

 What you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years mortgage experience in processing and/or post closing (preferred)
  • A minimum of two years of data entry experience and familiarity with loan operations
  • Two to four years experience in real estate law office or bank mortgage closing department is preferred.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with attorneys, title companies, and other business professionals.
  • Familiarity with all federal and state banking regulations pertaining to lending and consumer compliance, including fair lending laws.
  • Eligible to complete state and federal background checks
  • Great communication skills, self-motivation, positive attitude
