Job Title: National Director of Strategic Accounts
Location: Kansas
Salary: $50,000+ (Base Salary with Sales Incentives)

Position Overview:
As the National Director of Strategic Accounts, you will broker relationships, promote sales, and create strategic plans to exceed annual targets. Your role includes developing sales forecasts, preparing presentations, and collaborating with the Supply Chain team to ensure inventory levels. Attendance at trade shows, sales meetings, and account events is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with national accounts.
  • Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve annual sales targets.
  • Assist in developing and managing sales forecasts.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to maintain inventory levels.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, sales meetings, and account events.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints.
  • Continuously improve professional knowledge.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of industry sales experience with retail accounts (big box, hardware/home center, distributors & co-ops, Outdoor Power Equipment OEMs).
  • Proven track record of selling to national accounts.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Strong phone and email communication skills.
  • Experience in the Outdoor Power Equipment Industry is highly preferred.

Sales Representative Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve customers by selling products and meeting their needs.
  • Manage existing accounts and establish new ones.
  • Tailor sales presentations to specific outlets.
  • Focus sales efforts by studying dealer volume.
  • Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Keep management informed with activity and results reports.
  • Monitor competition and recommend product, service, and policy changes.
  • Resolve customer complaints.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge.
  • Provide historical records by maintaining sales records.
  • Contribute to team efforts.
