Position Purpose:  Families Together of Orange County is seeking an experienced or just out-of-school bilingual: Spanish-speaking Medical Front Desk for our Tustin and Fountain Valley offices. The proper candidate must have outstanding customer service skills and be able to adapt to working with a variety of individuals from the surrounding community. The primary job function is to provide high-quality customer service to our members while demonstrating our core values.


Core Duties and responsibilities, include but are not limited to:


  • Verifies patient information by interviewing the patient, recording medical history, and confirming the purpose of the visit.
  • Prepares patients for examination by taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; reports patient history summary.
  • Performs on-site testing and procedures per physician’s order.
  • Secures patient information and maintains patient confidentiality by completing and safeguarding medical records and other patient information.
  • Accurately records patient information, measurement data, procedure documentation and test results in electronic medical record, securing workstation when finished.
  • Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, verifying receipt.
  • Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; and calling for repairs.
  • Participates in quality management program.
  • Performs Front Office procedures to schedule, check-in, and process patients.
  • Performs Start of Day and End of Day procedures as assigned.


Qualifications, Education and Training:


  • Must have a high energy/enthusiastic personality
  • Must be computer literate
  • Willing to work some Saturdays 
  • 1 year of Medical/healthcare office receptionist experience required
  • Bilingual Spanish Required
