Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Overview:

Are you a dynamic individual with a warm personality and a passion for both customer service and accounting? LHH is seeking a motivated and eager professional to join our client's team as a Front Desk Administrative & Accounting Support Specialist. In this dual-role position, you will be the welcoming face of our office, providing essential front desk support while also assisting with light accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) tasks, as well as data entry for our accounting department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of accounting experience who is enthusiastic about growing their career in a supportive and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk Administration:

  • Greet and assist visitors and clients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Answer and route phone calls, taking messages as necessary.
  • Manage the front desk area, ensuring it remains organized and welcoming.
  • Handle mail and packages, including signing for deliveries and distributing mail.
  • Maintain office supplies and place orders as needed.
  • Perform general administrative tasks and provide support to other departments as required.

Accounting Support:

  • Assist with light accounts payable (AP) tasks, including invoice processing and vendor communications.
  • Help with accounts receivable (AR) duties, such as generating invoices and tracking payments.
  • Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and timely updating of financial records.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline processes and contribute to financial reporting.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a warm, approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and manage various responsibilities efficiently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
  • Eager to learn and grow within the company.
