We are seeking a Staff Accountant who has technical accounting experience in the manufacturing and/or public accounting environment. As a Staff Accountant, you will be a valued member of the accounting and finance team that helps to support a growing and diverse set of Companies. This position reports directly to the Controller and will work with other departments throughout the company in the regular course of business. This position will work out of our main office located in Spokane, WA.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing month-end, quarter-end, year-end closing
  • Monthly balance sheet account and cash reconciliations
  • Production Report preparation and costing analysis
  • Prepare state sales tax filings
  • Inventory system management for our production facilities
  • Consolidate and Balance inter-company transactions
  • Assist with year-end audits
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial statements following GAAP and compliance with internal policies
  • Assist in implementing new accounting policies and procedures
  • Perform additional assignments as required by the Company or as directed by the Controller or CFO

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Wage: $70,000 annually

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree; in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing accountant role or public accounting preferred
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Good Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
