As we enter the launch of our groundbreaking commercial product in the heart of the data center revolution, it’s an incredibly exciting time to join our team We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer to bring technical expertise and customer-focused engagement skills to support the advancement of our products to our customers and partners.


Key Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with Data Center Architects, Chief Information Officers, and Technology Directors to showcase the unique capabilities of our solutions and support Sales Executives' efforts.
  • Bridge Technical and Sales Teams: Align technical solutions with sales strategies by working with Cerio’s Engineering and Product teams, aiding in the execution of effective sales plans.
  • Engage and Present: Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to customers, partners, and prospects, making our cutting-edge solutions shine.
  • Develop Winning Proposals: Aid in creating formal sales plans, technical proposals, Statements of Work (SOW), customer quotations, and cost estimates that align with strategic objectives.
  • Track and Support: Ensure diligent tracking of sales opportunities in the CRM system, providing accurate updates and insights to support decision-making.


What we are looking for

  • Industry Expertise: Experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer or Subject Matter Expert in the Composable Disaggregated Infrastructure industry, will be given preference.
  • Start-Up Agility: Proven ability to thrive in a challenging and rapidly changing start-up environment.
  • Innovative Problem Solving: Demonstrated creative, technical, and analytical skills that have resulted in innovative and flexible solutions for prior customers.
  • Sales Partnership: Proven history of building effective partnerships with Sales Executives to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Competitive Knowledge: Deep understanding of industry solutions, technology, and product offerings.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM software with the ability to craft high-quality, winning sales proposals.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to Travel: Ability to travel to various customer locations as needed.


Your techcnial background will include

  • Data Center Expertise: Knowledge of Data Center Management and Operations Applications, Tools, and Methods.
  • System Design: Experience with Data Center Systems Design and Deployment, including Converged and HyperConverged Systems.
  • Interconnect Technologies: Familiarity with Data Center Interconnect Technologies (e.g., PCIe, CXL, Infiniband, NvLink, etc.).
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python.
  • Automation Platforms: Experience with Infrastructure as Code platforms like Terraform and Ansible.
