Job Summary:

 

The HR Generalist and Marketing Assistant is a unique, hybrid role that combines human resources management responsibilities with marketing strategy and execution. This position requires a dynamic individual who can effectively assist with recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration while also augmenting marketing initiatives that enhance brand awareness and support business development.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Human Resources

 

Recruitment & Onboarding:

 

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Partner with the HR director to manage the entire cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation programs.

 

 Employee Relations:

 

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement initiatives.

 

Benefits Administration:

 

  • Assist with the management of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate benefits enrollment and changes.
  • Guide employees on benefits options and coverage.

 

Compliance & Reporting:

 

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Prepare and submit required HR reports and filings.

 

Marketing

 

Marketing Strategy:

 

  • Maintain established marketing plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Assist the marketing director and graphics designer with monitoring market trends and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.

 

Digital Marketing:

 

  • Collaborate with the marketing director for the company’s digital presence, including website, social media, and email marketing.
  • Assist the graphics designer with content creation and ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms.
  • Analyze digital marketing metrics and make recommendations to adjust strategies to improve performance.

 

Brand Management & PR:

 

  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and communications.
  • Assist with developing marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, and case studies.
  • Assist with planning company participation in industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Assist the marketing director and graphics designer to maintain media relationships and manage public relations efforts.

 

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Business, or a related field.

3-5 years of combined experience in HR and marketing roles.

Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and marketing strategies.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.

Proficiency in HRIS systems, marketing software, and digital tools (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics).

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
