With excellent team management skills, oversee the process from initial customer contact and through the design, implementation and documentation phases of network installations. Additional responsibilities for the Network Operations Project Manager include the following:Responsibilities Include:
  • Actively and consistently support the deployment of new network installations.
  • Provide communication channel to customer to obtain customer technical and budgetary requirements.
  • Support proposal generation via site walks with customer and other project participants.
  • Support proposal generation process with project participants and sales team.
  • Generate project scope with internal and third-party resources.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans to track progress.
  • Coordinate internal and third-party resources during project execution phase.
  • Track and communicate project progress to customer and project participants.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management issues that impact project execution.
  • Perform risk management activities to identify, communicate, and mediate project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Support procurement and maintain inventory of project material and equipment.
Position Requirements:
  • 5 years of relevant networking experience, networking for large scale commercial properties a plus
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networks. Specifically Layers 1-3 of the OSI model.
  • Knowledge of VLAN and VPN standards and remote connection standards.
  • Strong understanding of current networking standards.
  • Strong Microsoft Visio experience.
  • Knowledge of WiFi configurations and protocols.
  • Networking for large scale commercial properties a plus.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience
