About the Role

The Cybersecurity Senior Analyst is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization's cybersecurity strategy. This role involves protecting the organization's information assets from cyber threats, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting a culture of security awareness. This role has the responsibility of managing the enterprise assets and its Architecture solutions that align with the organization's business goals. This role will be working closely with business and technology stakeholders to ensure that technology solutions meet business requirements and are scalable, secure, and sustainable. This role will be based in an office in Princeton, N.J., with a 3-day per-week office expectation.

Responsibilities

Cybersecurity Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and execute the organization's cybersecurity strategy and roadmap.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and address security gaps.

Security Operations:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cybersecurity team, including monitoring, incident response, and threat management.
  • Implement and maintain security technologies, tools, and processes to protect the organization's information assets.

Policy and Compliance:
  • Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).

Incident Management:
  • Lead incident response efforts, including detection, investigation, containment, and recovery.
  • Conduct post-incident analyses and develop action plans to prevent future incidents.

Architectural Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, ensuring alignment with business strategy and IT goals.
  • Create architectural blueprints, roadmaps, and standards to guide technology investments and projects.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of end-to-end solutions that integrate with existing systems and infrastructure.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to enhance the enterprise architecture.
  • Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into architectural solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, present solutions, and gain buy-in from stakeholders.

Governance and Compliance:
  • Establish and enforce architecture standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Training and Awareness:
  • Promote a culture of security awareness across the organization.

Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Ability to stay current with evolving cybersecurity threats and trends.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity management, including risk assessment, incident response, and security operations.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements
  • Significant experience in enterprise architecture, IT strategy, and solution design.
  • Experience with cloud computing, data architecture, and integration technologies.
