Job DescriptionJob Description

HarmonyTech is seeking a System Administrator to support implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems. Experience supporting Windows Servers is prefered. The system administrator will be responsible for supporting IT systems including: day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client problems.

Position is available in Washington DC (no telework), requires public trust clearance, and US citizenship.

Required Skills

  • At least 4 years of experience in system administration roles for enterprise software applications
  • Experienced with SSO implementation
  • Administration of Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and higher
  • Strong ability to write and manage PowerShell scripts
  • Knowledge of IBM WebSphere administration and configuration
  • Knowledge of SolarWinds & other performance monitoring tools
  • Experience working on Agile teams
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field

Desired Skills

  • Experience working with SQL Server Database
  • Experience implementing DevOps is highly desired
  • Federal Government consulting experience
  • Federal Government Public Trust clearance
  • System Engineer certification
  • Strong analytical skills
