General Motors Warranty Administrator

We are currently seeking a meticulous and organized General Motors Warranty Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing warranty claims for General Motors vehicles sold and serviced by our dealership. This role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of General Motors warranty policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Process warranty claims accurately and efficiently according to General Motors guidelines.
- Review and verify all warranty claims for completeness and compliance with General Motors requirements.
- Communicate effectively with General Motors representatives to resolve any warranty claim discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain detailed records of warranty claims, approvals, and rejections.
- Assist service advisors and technicians in understanding warranty coverage and claim submission procedures.
- Stay updated on General Motors warranty policies, procedures, and updates.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any warranty-related inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in automotive technology or related field preferred.
- Prior experience as a warranty administrator in an automotive dealership, particularly with General Motors vehicles, is highly desirable.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with warranty management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and General Motors representatives.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality of work.
- Familiarity with General Motors warranty policies, procedures, and systems is preferred.
