About the opportunity:
We are looking for a strategic People Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team and enhance our HR processes. Reporting directly to the VP of People Operations, you will support day-to-day operations, including new employee onboarding, HR administration, and compliance, fostering healthy workplace practices throughout every department. You have a deep understanding of the employee lifecycle to provide the ultimate white glove service to our employees who are our internal customers and increase their satisfaction. Jerry is building the first AllCar™ super app to help people optimize all aspects of owning a car – insurance, buy/sell, registration, loans, safety, repairs, parking, etc – a $2T market in the U.S. We started with insurance in 2019, and since then we’ve launched loan refinancing, real-time driving insights, a repair marketplace, car diagnostics, and a GenAI-powered chatbot and voicebot. We have amassed over 5M customers, raised $240M in funding, scaled our revenue 40X and our team to 250 across 7 countries.
How you will make an impact:
Provide an immersive onboarding experience for new hires to highlight how their role has real impact on the business and the business of our customers
Support the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives, such as surveys, team-building activities, and recognition programs. Help gather feedback from employees and contribute to creating an inclusive work environment
Maintain accurate employee records, assist with benefits administration, and ensure HR data is up-to-date in HRIS systems. Help with the preparation of HR documents, including offer letters, contracts, and onboarding materials
Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries and provide basic guidance on HR policies and procedures. Support the HR team in addressing employee concerns and resolving issues
Preferred experience:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or a related field
2-4 years of non-internship HR experience OR Master’s Degree in HR, IO psychology, or a related field
Strong understanding of HR best practices and legal requirements

Has exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Passionate about creating a positive employee experience
Can multitask and prioritize easily without compromising attention to detail
Applies solid judgment and ensures integrity, compliance, and confidentiality while handling highly sensitive information
