Job Summary

Stanford Health Care is seeking a skilled Facilities Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for dispatching facilities personnel to emergency and non-emergency calls for service. Your primary goal will be to ensure prompt and accurate response to all calls, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Answer all telephone calls promptly and courteously, triaging calls rapidly and prioritizing them in order of importance.
Monitor radio traffic during emergency situations and dispatch additional personnel as needed.
Maintain current status of personnel in the field, ensuring accurate and timely communication with team members.
Monitor the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) to dispatch personnel as appropriate and maintain accurate work orders and log notes.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
One to two years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
Ability to adapt to and deal with change and ambiguity, as well as generate ideas and coordinate administrative solutions to alleviate security problems.
Ability to observe and recall names, places, and incidents, read and understand laws, ordinances, departmental rules, and policies.
Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work independently, and meet deadlines, as well as relate to others in a calm, tactful, and courteous manner.
