This role will service provisions to focus on working with clients to enhance their recovery. What you will be doing:
  • Provide ongoing case management services for applicable participants; monitor the case through approved closing and maintain client records and all other required documentation with discretion.
  • Manage crises by assessing, deciding, and acting following standards and laws in emergencies involving the health and safety of clients being compromised, support participants in daily decision-making, and resolution of minor problems.
What is Required:
  • High School Diploma/GED Required
  • One (1) year of advocacy, mentoring, education, counseling, substance use service, or case management experience is required.
  • Lived experience with mental illness, addiction or poverty.
  • Current valid certification issued and recognized by the Texas Certification Board as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist, Peer Recovery Specialist, Internationally Certified Peer Recovery, Re-Entry Peer Specialist, Mental Health Peer Specialist, or Recovery Support Peer Specialist is required.
