Position Summary: As a Produce Manager at Seed to Table, you'll be the guardian of all things fresh and fabulous. You'll oversee the daily operations of our produce department, ensuring the highest quality and presentation of our products. Your role includes managing inventory, supervising staff, and creating an inviting atmosphere that keeps our customers coming back for more. Key Responsibilities: Lead and Inspire: Motivate and energize a team of Produce Associates with positivity and enthusiasm. Ensure Quality: Maintain the highest standards of quality, freshness, and presentation for all produce items. Inventory Management: Order supplies, manage inventory, and minimize waste with precision and care. Customer Engagement: Provide excellent service and share your produce knowledge with customers. Innovation and Sustainability: Collaborate with the leadership team to implement innovative and sustainable practices. Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the produce department clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing. Qualifications: Proven experience in a produce management role or similar. Exceptional leadership skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for fresh, organic produce and sustainable practices. Proficiency in English, with Spanish as a plus. Authorized to work in the United States. Must be at least 18 years of age. Experience with making pasta from scratch and using pasta-making equipment is a plus. Must have reliable transportation. Positive, upbeat attitude and a sense of humor that can light up the produce aisle. Non-slip shoes are mandatory for a safe working environment (please note that the company does not provide them). Physical Requirements: Physical Endurance: Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods. Strength and Agility: Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Adaptability to Environmental Conditions: Comfortable working in various temperatures. Allergen Management: Proficient in handling diverse foods safely. Flexibility and Mobility: Skilled in bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting. Utilization of Equipment: Experienced in using step-stools or ladders, helpful for tasks.
