Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as Youth Tech Program Support Staff. In this role, you will play a critical part in the success of our programs, supporting our team in delivering impactful and engaging technology education to young people.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and execution of technology education programs for youth, including workshops, camps, and after-school activities

• Provide hands-on support and guidance to participants during technology activities and projects

• Collaborate with program leaders to develop curriculum and lesson plans that align with our organization's mission and goals

• Help maintain a safe and positive learning environment for participants and enforce program rules and guidelines

• Set up and maintain technology equipment and materials, ensuring they are in good working condition and organized

• Contribute to program evaluations and provide feedback on ways to improve the program and its impact on participants

• Support recruitment efforts for program participants and assist with outreach activities

• Help with administrative tasks, such as data entry, attendance tracking, and program registration

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education or relevant experience in technology education preferred

• Knowledge and experience with a variety of technology tools and platforms, including computer coding, robotics, graphic design, and video production

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with young people and their families

• Passion for working with youth and empowering them through technology

• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Positive attitude, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit to work effectively with a diverse team

• Prior experience working with youth in a camp, after-school, or educational setting is a plus
