We’re looking for a passionate General Manager to join our team Our ideal candidate is passionate about food, beverages, and welcoming customers through our doors. You have experience in successfully managing a team, fostering unity, and working together to accomplish daily goals. No task is too small for you. When you join our team, you’ll be responsible for providing a friendly, helpful, and responsive level of service to all of our guests. You’ll be able to speak authentically about who we are, and every item on our food and beverage menu.  You love cookies, you are always ready to lend a helping hand to a colleague & you don’t take yourself too seriously. You will be based at any of the mamans. What you’ll do: 

  • SCHEDULE A: 

    1. HUMAN RESOURCES/STAFF (in collaboration with HR Director & Regional Director) 

    - Hiring; 

    - Firing; 

    - Ensuring all new hires are fully onboarded in Harri prior to coming in for their first training shift and have passed the e-verification; 

    - Ensuring that staff members (BOH & FOH) are properly trained; 

    - Evaluation of staff (BOH & FOH); and 

    - Review daily time punches on Harri; address time clock abuse via coaching 

    and/or documentation. 

    2. HEALTH DEPARTMENT/ESTHETIC OF STORES 

    - Ensuring that all the rules and regulations of the State Health Department are respected; 

    - Representing the Company in front of Health Department Tribunal (with Regional Director); and 

    - Maintaining the aesthetic of the store, including the store’s R&M needs. 

    3. OPERATIONS 

    - Maintaining Maman’s service standards (speediness, customer service, 

    upselling…); 

    - Ensuring that BOH staff follow recipe & ticket fulfillment time 

    standard; 

    - Ensuring that all food and beverage products are consistently prepared and served according to Maman’s recipes, portioning, and plating standards; 

    - Ensure return visitors and foster relationships with regulars through warm hospitality and impeccable service; develop one-on-one rapport with returning guests; 

    - Ensuring the proper operation of 3rd party delivery platform; 

    - Being aware and solutioning customers’ complaints (Google, Tattle and Yelp reviews); 

    - Weekly report to management; 

    - Work with the Maman office team towards the development and implementation of new SOPs, menu launches, marketing initiatives, events, training etc; and 

    - Monthly meetings with the team (or more frequently if necessary). 

    4. FINANCIALS 

    - Accountable for the profitability of the store by growing sales and controlling cost of good, labor costs and prime margin; 

    - Target the areas of excess cost; work with Maman office team to maximize profitability without compromising guest experience; 

    - Maintaining proper level of inventory; and 

    - Accountable for respecting the budget put in place by management.
