Position Overview:The Inventory Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all inventory control-related activities. This role includes maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring the efficient use of resources. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to streamline inventory processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor and maintain current inventory levels; track orders and investigate discrepancies.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile with system data.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure accurate and timely ordering of inventory.
  • Manage and optimize warehouse space utilization.
  • Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present inventory reports to management.
  • Train and supervise inventory control staff.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management software and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
