Job Overview:

The Inventory Management Support C role is crucial for executing both physical and administrative functions that facilitate the shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of materials, components, supplies, and equipment. This position also involves identifying and rejecting unsatisfactory items when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and prepare records for products dispatched and monitor shipment statuses.
  • Receive incoming materials, unpack, and verify goods against purchase orders or invoices.
  • Confirm the quantity, weight, and compliance of materials with specified identifications.
  • Keep detailed records of received items, process freight bills, packing lists, and related documentation.
  • Organize and distribute materials within inventory and on the receiving line.
  • Handle heavy items and operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and forklifts, following internal certification.
  • Understand material handling protocols and adhere to Environmental Health and Safety regulations.
  • May engage in crate shop activities, including using power saws and nail guns for constructing skids and crates.
  • Demonstrate quality awareness with precise counting skills.
  • Exhibit flexibility in adapting to changing priorities.
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer service.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Availability to work any shift and overtime as required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or 2 years of post-secondary education with at least 2 years of related experience.
  • Experience with BSI transactions.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly SAP.
  • Experience operating DV8R forklifts.
  • Availability for on-call duties.
  • Willingness to meet short-notice travel requirements.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
