For 60 years Horizons has been dedicated to providing opportunities to improve the lives of individuals and families. Horizons provides a variety of human services across Eastern Iowa including: Transportation (NTS), Financial Wellness (FWC), and Meals on Wheels (MOW).

As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Horizons, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the organization. You will oversee day-to-day operations, develop and execute strategic plans, and ensure alignment with the organization's mission and values. Additionally, you will be expected to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, lead and motivate staff, and represent the organization in the community. This role requires strong decision-making skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to inspire others towards achieving common goals. A typical day may involve meeting with department heads, engaging with community partners, and evaluating program effectiveness.
