Automotive Mechanic

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify issues with vehicles.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Repair and replace various components, such as engines, transmissions, and suspension systems.
- Utilize auto estimating software to accurately assess the cost of repairs and provide detailed estimates to customers.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair procedures and provide recommendations for future maintenance.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient service operations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in automotive repair.
- Transmit accurate information to customers regarding the status of their vehicle's repair.
- Demonstrate strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive repair, preferably in a dealership setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose complex problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy equipment.
- Certification in automotive repair or a related field is preferred.
