Overview:

Accountable for diagnosing essential vehicle services and executing the repair, maintenance, and/or service tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspecting customer vehicles for issues.
  • Determining necessary vehicle repairs and upkeep.
  • Providing cost estimates for repairs.
  • Executing vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:
  • To successfully perform this role, an individual must be capable of executing each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience:
  • Familiarity with automotive components and systems. Proven mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
  • Technical training or equivalent technical experience is required.
  • Certificates and Licenses:
  • Valid Insurable Driver's License.
  • Experience with General Motors is preferred.
Computer Skills:
  • Basic computer skills to utilize the timekeeping system. Ability to learn the parts department's inventory and ordering system.
Communication Skills:
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions. Effective communication skills with customers and company personnel.
Verbal and Written Communication:
  • Ability to understand instructions, correspondence, and memos. Capability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers and colleagues.
