Summary

Williamson County Schools is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Child Care Assistants to join our School Age Child Care (SACC) program. As a Child Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for elementary-aged children. Your responsibilities will include assisting in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, supervising children, and ensuring their well-being.

We are looking for Team Leads to help with opening and closing an assignedschool location. Current opportunity at elementary schools in Franklin, TN.

Position Details
  • 12-month part-time position and includes working school breaks and summers.
  • Flexible morning and afternoon hoursworked and days of the week
  • Shifts are 6:30-9:00 am and 3:30-6:00 pm on regular school days
  • Additional hours are available when school is outand summer
  • Pay is between$16.20-23.47 an hour and is based on experience, extra $2 an hour for working morning hours


Duties

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the daily operations of the SACC program
  • Supervise and engage with children during programming
  • Support the implementation of educational and recreational activities
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the program
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians


Requirements

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with children is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • A passion for working with children and contributing to their development
