"As the President/CEO of our LASIK center, I am looking for motivated, talented and driven salespeople to close business and sign up new patients and referral sources. This is a true blue sales role – qualifying, determining pain and need, presenting to the prospective referral sources and patients, and closing on one of a variety of options for our patients and referral sources. Our value proposition to our patients is obviously very high, making it a compelling sale. For this role, we’re not overly interested in particular industry background and experience although experience in the healthcare field is very helpful. While many LASIK companies have gone out of business or are struggling mightily, ours continues to grow and is positioned to continue to more than double revenues again this year.

The Position

The sales position plays a critical dual role: 1) closing patients coming into our practice interested in laser vision correction 2) diligently following up with prospective patients 3) closing incoming telephone and email leads/inquiries generated by ongoing marketing. You will be expected to meet or exceed quotas in activities as well as results.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently make outbound phone calls to prospective patients, some warm, others cold.

  • Professionally handle incoming inquiries from prospective patients who respond to any of a variety of marketing campaigns and channels.

  • Develop bonding and rapport with prospective and existing patients and referral sources.

  • Follow up relentlessly (and respectfully) on qualified prospective patients

  • Mandatory participation in regular sales meetings and extensive and ongoing training.

  • Bringing your own flair to the process, delivering compelling presentations.

  • Thoroughly develop professional and powerful powerpoints, scripts and other materials to effectively close business.

  • Meet required and mutually agreed upon quotas for all key metrics (calls, appointments, presentations, closings, etc.)

Qualifications

Core values, abilities, and demonstrable track record of success are more important to us than direct experience. That being said, an ideal candidate would have the following:

  • Ability to demonstrate clearly that you have succeeded tremendously in sales in prior positions

  • A burning desire to succeed

  • Demonstrable ability to effectively present both over the phone and in person

  • Some health care sales background very helpful but not absolutely mandatory if you have proven track record of success in sales
