At Wellworks For You, our employees are dedicated to our client's success. We are looking for a hybrid remote Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist to join our team This position would work 2 days a week in our Malvern office and the remaining days at home.


The Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing incoming payments, vendor payments, employee expense accounts, and credit card reconciliations. The Accounts Payable position will be a hybrid position of 3 days at home and two days in office work per week.


What will your day look like?

  • Ensuring all required documents are received prior to vendor setup.
  • Ensuring all invoices received from vendors are approved prior to entering them into the accounts payable system.
  • Ensuring vendor invoices are coded appropriately within the general ledger.
  • Create accounts payable aging reports with recommendations for which vendor to pay.
  • Responding to vendor invoice questions.
  • Posting of credit card activity within the general ledger and ensuring that appropriate support is obtained as evidence the goods or services were received and approved.
  • Posts daily customer payments by recording Checks, ACH’s and Credit Card Transactions.
  • Ensure daily cash activity within the general ledger agrees to the bank postings.
  • Organizing and filing customer remittance and deposit information.
  • Preparing reports on delinquent customer accounts and customer payment profiles.
  • Responding and reaching out to customers on payment status by phone and email
  • Maintains records by scanning invoices, debits and credits.
  • Maintains standard operating procedures for accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and work independently.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned


Requirements:
  • An associate's degree in accounting or related field, preferred
  • At least one year of AR/AP experience
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online or other accounting software required.
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel skills to perform analysis of large data sets, required.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of general financial accounting.
  • Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

What is the work environment?

  • This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, keyboard, phones, etc.
  • This position is a hybrid position, reporting into our home office in Malvern, Pa. 2 days a week and working from a home office 3 days a week.
  • Computer and VPN access are provided. Employee must provide their own internet access when working remotely.
  • This position's hours will be Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm ET, or 8 am to 4 pm ET.
