Medical Assistant Job Snapshot

A Day on The Job

Our Medical Assistants play a vital role in achieving PPTNM’s mission by providing exemplary healthcare services for our patients. Throughout the day you will conduct patient assessment, patient education, venipuncture, laboratory duties, instrument sterilization, procedure room set up and assistance, medical record documentation and Front Office Support. Our medical assistants enjoy the opportunity to practice to the full extent of their training/certification often working autonomously with our patients.

Your Schedule

We start our day with a 7:50 a.m. huddle and typically wrap-up around 5:00 p.m. Our full-time medical assistants work four or five days during a Monday through Friday work week. .

The Rewards

Hourly Rates: The starting hourly rate for this position ranges from $20 - $25 an hour based on certification and experience. Employees are recognized for continued learning and workplace contributions during annual performance reviews.

To Succeed

Our medical assistants are certified medical assistants or have successfully completed an accredited medical assistant/healthcare assistant program or associates degree. They bring meaningful experience in a clinical healthcare setting with a strong commitment to our mission and goals, the delivery of high-quality healthcare and to excellence in customer service. They demonstrate confidence and competence in providing care to patients and managing their PHI.
