Job Description

ARLCS seeks a strategic Communications & Enrollment Specialist to develop, implement, and manage marketing and communication strategies for our district, recruitment and enrollment of a more diverse and inclusive scholar body and implement retention initiatives for current scholars and families. This position is responsible for drafting press releases, creating social media content, monitoring media coverage, and assisting with event planning. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level professional looking to gain valuable experience in the communications field.

This ARLCS addition to our team will be growth-minded, highly motivated, and a collaborative-thinking educational professional to develop and implement comprehensive, communication culture and facilitate action-oriented enrollment and district/campus events.

The EC Manager is a member of the campus team and works collaboratively with executive leadership, the Board of Trustees, faculty, and staff.  The communications aspect of this role prioritizes capturing campus life and its stories through various media including print, digital, and video. They will also manage relationships with local press and continually keep a finger on the pulse of what’s happening on ARLCS campuses.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required, degree in marketing, communications. A minimum of five (1) year demonstrated experience in enrollment, marketing and/or communications, and campaign/message development required with a knowledge of marketing and communication best practices, strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies

- Draft press releases, articles, and other written materials

- Create engaging content for social media platforms

- Monitor media coverage and compile reports

- Assist with event planning and coordination
