Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionGreenwood Project

The Greenwood Project was founded in 2016 based on two core principles:                                                    “Students can’t be what they can’t see”

                                                                                    and

“There is no lack of talent, only a lack of opportunity.”
GP’s mission is bold, essential and long overdue.  We are dedicated to creating opportunities for qualified Black and Latino college students to attain high-trajectory careers in financial services through rigorous training and internships. At Greenwood Project, we don’t just talk about change; we are the catalyst for it, breaking barriers and building a more inclusive and diverse financial industry. Our people are the foundation that allows us to achieve our ambitious goals. Becoming part of the Greenwood Project team means joining a group of driven, passionate and intellectually curious individuals. To work here is to be crucial to the organization’s success.
Equity Research Career Specialist
Reporting to the Director of People and Culture, the Equity Research Career Specialist's priorities will be to support Greenwood Project scholars toward career pathways into equity research. Additionally, the Equity Research Career Specialist will support the design and development of effective systems to prepare students for internships in the finance industry. With the goal of students achieving full-time job offers, the Equity Research Career Specialist ensures students are sufficiently prepared with professional skills, equity research-specific knowledge, and understanding to support their job performance during their summer internships. The Equity Research Career Specialist will manage a cohort of college students, supporting them through various methods, including but not limited to 1:1 coaching, small group development sessions, large group professional development, online coursework, and on-site events. As a member of the Greenwood Project team and a key driver of student experience and success, the Equity Research Career Specialist will additionally support the development of our learning pathways and roadmaps, curriculum, evaluation tools, and other key impact measures. This unique opportunity allows you to have a significant and meaningful impact on the success of our scholars.
Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and track scholar success on internal rubrics and roadmaps.

  • Manage and develop scholar relationships that support retention and success through their lifecycle in the Greenwood Project program.
  • Develop and oversee equity research partner feedback systems to ensure scholar success during their internships.
  • Support the strategic build-out of the program, including planning for scaling systems and structures for student development and investment banking internship success.
  • All other duties, as assigned.
